As 2009 comes to an end I would like to extend my deepest appreciation to the numerous volunteers who work tirelessly on behalf of Rotary District 7010.
I am extremely proud of the Officers of the District, the Assistant District Governors and the Directors. These Rotarians are leaders within their respective clubs, and also within our District. It has been a pleasure working alongside them in 2009.
My deepest appreciation goes out to Bill Querney of the Rotary Club of Sudbury, and his 2009 District Conference committee. Fellowship at the Falls was a resounding success! Mark your calendars for the 2010 District conference which will take place in Peterborough September 23- 26, 2010. This is a great opportunity to recharge your Rotary batteries! I look forward to seeing you there.
Another exciting opportunity is before us in 2010. June 17-23 the Rotary world will descend on Montreal to celebrate 100 years of Rotary in Canada. We hope that you will join us and the many other Rotarians from District 7010 in making this the most memorable Rotary event of the century.
